Amanda was born, raised, and lives in The Dalles, Oregon and is proud to call the Columbia River Gorge her home.
Amanda got her start in interior design work early on in life when her very first job, a retail store manager, offered her the opportunity to regularly use her creative visual talents and keen eye to set the stage of the store and draw buyers in. Giving her customers the opportunity to visualize themselves in the products and clothing they sold. After a few years of that she took a long break in sales and design to be a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom, for her three awesome children. During that time she continued her passion for interior design as a hobby, constantly changing her own home as trends changed. Then she decided to enroll in Interior Design and Home Staging through New York Institute of Design to help grow her knowledge and skills, just in case the opportunity for a career ever presented itself.
Life took a few turns and she re-entered the working world again, where she found herself back into the world of retail design and sales when she opened her own businesses in The Dalles and that reignited her passion for visual beauty in both living spaces and commercial spaces. She prides herself in the environment she can create with the right tools and attention to detail. Amanda is proud to bring her work and skills to the JDRE team and finds that her favorite part is knowing that her work helps both the realtors and clients achieve their real estate dreams.
