Colleen Sabo originally hails from the outskirts of Seattle, Washington. Colleen grew up exploring all of the recreational opportunities that the Columbia River Gorge has to offer.
She graduated with a B.A. in Economics, she moved to Hood River, Oregon making it her home base while she traveled the globe as a professional Kiteboarder. After almost a decade of traveling and competing alongside the world’s best kiteboarders, all the while coming home to Hood River in between events and photoshoots, Colleen learned that there was nowhere else in the world quite like the Columbia River Gorge.
Now a permanent resident, she directs her tenacity and competitive drive towards helping her clients achieve their Real Estate goals. In addition to her successful career as a professional athlete, Colleen has experience in Sales, Marketing, has a keen eye for photography and has an extensive portfolio of published articles. This experience lends her well to the many hats that an agent wear.
In her free time, you can find her on the water, in the mountains, or working on her own home and garden projects with her husband and rescue pup, Joey.
We are midwesterners, and fell in love with The Gorge during our travels. During the Covid quarantine of 2020 we connected with Colleen online. She sent us listings and we ended up purchasing an acre of land in The Dalles WA. Kind of a crazy thing to do online, but Colleen was so amazing. She went to several locations and video taped the areas and land. We ended up putting a contract on the land and closed in July of 2021. We are currently working with a builder. We were able to visit the property prior to closing and it was just as we imagined. Colleen is very professional and follows up with every question we had, and they were many.
